The face and cheeks of the mask are round, with extending ears. The curves of the ears are hammered out. Each of the lobules has a concave part shaped like a hole, but not through. The crescent-like brows are a bit protruding. The bridge of the nose is high. And the eyes and the big mouth are hollowed-out, with the mouth slightly opening, as if smiling. The mysterious-looking mask was unearthed from the Jinsha ruins in Chengdu. According to research, the mask was an object used by ancient people in religious sacrificial rituals.
